Goals 2019

Do you make yearly goals?  Every year I make goals.  I always make the standard fitness ones {lose X amount of pounds, fit into a size __, PR on a certain exercise} every single year.

I have set a few for this year.  They all seem pretty attainable.  Did you know that when it comes to making goals they should be S.M.A.R.T?

Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-based

In short, you should make goals that you can actually reach, and give yourself a set time to do it.  Instead of I'm gonna lose 100 pounds, you should try I'm going to start going to the gym 3 times a week so I can lose 10 pounds by April.

Here's my list

  1. Fit a size 9
  2. PR everything
  3. Compete {yes, i know that this is pretty broad but, I'm still deciding what I'm gonna do}
  4. Grow my business
  5. Be happy
2018 was a rough year for many people, including myself.  I'm just really hoping to make 2019 a good year.  What are your resolutions/goals for 2019?  Let me know

2017 Goals

I have 3 goals for 2017.  They are rather vague but, they totally mean what I plan on accomplishing this year.

1.Do More  -- This is as simple as it sounds.  I want to do more things.  Get back into my photography.  Start doing the things that I used to love. Buy a house.

2. See More -- I want to go more places.  The girls and I don't DO enough.  We are together alot but, we don't do much.

3. Be More -- I want to grow my business.  I want to better myself.  I want to grow as a person.

So, as you can see.  I don't have anything specific.  I jsut want to be able to wake up on January 1, 2018 and say "I did alot.  I am a better person."

What are your goals/resolutions for 2017?

Ring In The New Year!

Happy 2016 you guys!  I'm always excited for a new year.  This year was nothing special.  No real downs and no memorable ups.  Just a "eh, whatever" type of year.  The last time I was sad to see a year end was 2008.

The past 3 or 4 years I didn't make any resolutions.  This year I made 2.  I made sure to keep them simple and attainable.

  1. Get back to blogging -- As y'all know, I've been REALLY bad about regularly blogging lately.  My goal is to do 2-3 posts a week.  Nothing too crazy.
  2. Take more pictures -- I used to be a professional photographer.  Now I rarely pick up my camera.  I want to try and take 2 sets of photos a month.  I'll figure out something interesting that is happening that month and do a set of pictures.

I'm hoping that by keeping my goals kinda low that I'll be able to maintain.

Well, happy new year everyone!

Did you make a resolution?  Tell me in the comments!
